"TALENT CHARACTERISTICS"

This is a little test for Mental Training and getting yourself in touch with your own talent characteristics. An exercise I have my team members fill out. Give it a try.

TALENT CHARACTERISTICS

  • Using numbers 1 through 14, rate your STRONGEST talent starting with number 1, all the way to your WEAKEST talent ending with number 14. These will be in the left hand column. Example, for me as a racer, I would rate INTELLIGENCE number 1, ATTITUDE number 2 and so on…
  • In the Right hand column, there are 3 or 4 descriptions, choose the one that fits you best and circle it. The key is to think about it for a bit, then make HONEST answers, this way you can start to evaluate yourself, and know some of your strengths and weaknesses
  • __TEMPERMENT- strong & stable, nervous, sensitive, irritable
  • __ATTITUDE- all knowing, positive, good, negative
  • __DESIRE- want it bad, strong, average, weak
  • __MOTIVATION- high/self motivator, average, lacking
  • __DETERMINATION- very determined, fairly determined, loser
  • __INTELLIGENCE- high/always thinking, average, ride only 1 line
  • __CONFIDENCE- arrogant, self assured, weak/ lack confidence
  • __COORDINATION- very coordinated, average, not in sync
  • __BALANCE- can walk a tightrope, good, fall down allot
  • __STRENGTH- strong & physical, pretty solid, can’t put bike on stand
  • __ENDURANCE- what, only 25 laps? can maintain, tired at 1st turn
  • __NERVES- poised, cool & calm, worry wart, feeble
  • __GUTS- courageous/a fighter, fortitude/stamina, coward
  • __FOCUS- total flow concentration, good for ˝ the moto, day dreamer
